It’s been a while since I posted here my introduction. Of course, a lot of things has happened since then and I have been continuing in my UN youth delegate mission.
On 9 June 2011 I visited the United Nations Office in Vienna (UNOV) with the Slovak UN youth delegate for 2010. Her name is Dana Vyzinkarova and she is giving me her knowledge gained from her experience last year. During our visit to the UNOV we enjoyed a personal guided tour around the Vienna International Centre which was very interesting. Since it was the personal guided tour it was very interactive and we could pose a lot of questions. We also touched the moon :) I am not kidding now. In the UNOV there was an exhibition dedicated to the memory of the first man in the outer space – Yuri Gagarin within which a small piece of moon was exhibited. Of course, we took the opportunity to touch it :) I was also introduced to the Director of the United Nations Information Service Vienna and we agreed on our future cooperation, particularly on one project concerning Slovak teachers. I enjoyed the visit to the UNOV truly very much and that was just the beginning of my UN adventures :)
